THE FACTIONS
SYNOPSIS
A warrior monk receives a vision of fire, death, and violence.
To prevent this war, he must find five champions: the Scholar, the Flame, the Dog, the Dagger, The Crone and the Damsel.
Befriending a barbarian along the way, they journey together as a horde of barbarians crushes kingdoms to the north, threatening the entire continent.
Many fighters join the tyrant, believing him to be a prophet. The remaining Lords ally, but will it withstand the coming onslaught?
Can the monk and his companion find the missing warriors in time? And even if they do, will they be enough to stand against The Tyrant and his growing army?
The Misfit
Heroes
The Monk
He has spent much of his time in the monastery. His unorthodox beliefs led him to leave it. A warrior monk trained in the ways of bare handed combat. He is an exile that wanders the realm. He is forced into this mission by his vision.
Virrus
A strong and capable warrior. Striking. Raised by elves but is of dwarven ancestry. Agile but solid. She has an interest in Battust.
Jaduk
A middle aged paladin of the 3 headed god. Jaduk’s loss of his squire Samael propels him directly into the conflict. He has yet to awaken his Cleric powers.
Battust
Tall and powerfully built. A young barbarian living in exile. He has abdicated his princely title to wander the realm in search of knowledge and a life outside his small village. He fights with a strange finesse and grace for one his size.
Xil
An experienced Black Dog Mercenary from the West. He functions as an emissary for his company. He travels to meet The Tyrant about a bounty. A capable warrior with a touch of magic about him.
Borin
A western born warrior of the Black Dog Mercenary group. He is a very capable warrior that generally lives with ease. He is ruthless and doesn’t care much for those who are not Black Dog and jobs that do not pay well.
Zaurus
A mouthy, streetwise thief, Zaurus does not care about the coming war, in fact there is profit to be made. They only care about surviving and profiting. They aren’t VERY skilled in single combat but better than average. Zaurus excels in positions where support of one’s allies is paramount.
The Horde
Saxos
A barbarian ex slave. Strong and harsh but fair. He is the well loved leader of The Horde. His mission to reset the scales of power by decimating the elites is well regarded by many across the land. He is fueled by belief and necromancy.
Morn
She is one of the most powerful and famous warriors in The Horde. A legendary mercenary and slayer of men. Barbarian by birth wielding a halberd. She only wants to fight a worthy opponent.
Tusk
A barbarian and fierce companion of Saxos.
Brogez
A powerful swordsman that travels with Moemi. He is said to hail from the gray city.
The Alliance
The Commander
Noble, reasonable and leader of The Alliance. The Commander was raised to be a good leader and born into the aristocracy. His learning has taught him that violence is to be used as only as a last resort. The goal is peace. The commander is still capable on the field of battle though his prime has come and gone.
The Highest Order
The highest order is a group of wizards that advise the alliance. Their primary task is controlling the Breimin Lord prison in the north west.
Queen Emalda
the crippled wife of a slain king, mother of a butchered daughter, she hates Saxos and the horde and seeks their destruction.
Prince
A Nephew of the Commander that sits on the high council. He is spoiled and seeks only after his own ends.

Bauden
Jaduk's mentor and an experienced cleric. His primary task is training new converts and protecting pilgrims between the villages.
Samael
A young walker of the way. He is new to the faith and the nephew of jaduk.
The Raiders
Moemi
A highwayman and leader from the MarrowedWay. Moemi and her crew are working as mercenaries for the Tyrant. She came to the North for her own reasons of retribution and The Tyrant was just a convenient ally.
Little Jack
A young raider and part of moemi's army.
Scorpus
Second in command to Moemi. They are cousins but refer to each other as sisters. A highwayman and leader from the south. She works for the Tyrant and came to the North with Moemi’s army.
The Circle
Tawdry
A young merchant with a questionable past and a big mouth. She has ties to the underground group knows as the Circle.
The Bard
A musician traveling with the caravan. She is also a member of the circle.
The
Nekrus
Nekro
A man of slight build and wielding dark druidic powers. He is the leader of a powerful organization. Allied with horde but not wholly subservient to them, he gives them a powerful potion that aids in their conquest.
Saya
Second in command to Nekro and a powerful sorceress. A true devotee to the dark arts and possessed of an almost seductive aura.
Kirtan
An assassin from the south, she works for The Nekro delivering items and messages. She is a killer and her partner is as well.

Lord Benjamin N. Redic II
The Violence Conductor specializes in high speed action. He will be co-directing the overall project and taking the lead in action coordination in strong collaboration with the numerous stunt coordinators on the team. Benjamin N. Redic II, aka "The Violence Conductor," is an Austin, Texas-based independent producer, fight choreographer, cinematographer, and stunt performer who founded Ballistic Blade Entertainment, a production company specializing in high-energy action-oriented films, shorts, and video content with an emphasis on martial arts-inspired choreography. He often handles multiple roles on a production including writing, directing fights, and stunts on condensed crew/budget projects. He is a multi award winning filmmaker and music video producer, his key producing achievements include action titles like Free Dead or Alive, No Loss No Gain, Showtime's "Catching Lightning" and Outrage. He has contributed fight choreography and stunts to numerous indie features and shorts in the Austin scene.
Danyelle Weatherford
Danyelle is a jack of all trades an close to mastering many. Danyelle will bring her creative, management and marketing experience to Chronicles. She is an Austin, Texas-based independent producer, director, actress, and business strategist who founded The Rokk Group, a production and media company focused on storytelling, creative platforms, and supporting underrepresented voices in film. Often multitasking as writer, director, and performer on indie projects, her key producing and directing achievements include the drama feature 8 Buck$ (2022), a true-story-inspired film about resilience and transformation; the sci-fi TV movie Forward (2016); and the comedy Unbalanced, while serving as Chief Creative Officer for the Austin Action Fest to champion genre filmmakers and behind-the-scenes talent.
Kisha C.G.
Kisha is a founding member of the film production company, III Productions, & owner of Inquisitive Minds Films. She has been instrumental in the background coordination of numerous projects in Central Texas. She is experienced on stage and on screen and brings a wealth of talent and coordination to the production.
Marissa Falsone
Marissa Falsone (Padden) is an Austin, Texas-based independent producer, award winning actress, voiceover artist, and filmmaker who founded Reed Street Films, a production company dedicated to creating original stories and supporting emerging talent. Often multitasking in indie projects, her key producing achievements include the short film Abandoned (2021) and co-producing the comedy series pilot Blue Belts; she has also starred in projects like the feature Finding Solace while serving as a former film festival programmer, Meisner acting coach, and board member for Shine On Performing Arts to nurture the local creative community. She is also a professional executive producer.
Steven & Aly Nativi
Steven and Aly of Ming House Ving Tsun are skilled martial artists and instructors. They also have a long standing passion for gaming. In addition to helping with the action coordination, they will be leading the board game development team due to their years of experience and deep knowledge of the field.
James Drake Coleman
James Drake Coleman is an Austin, Texas-based independent filmmaker and producer who founded Wild Canvas Media to create character-driven stories on limited budgets, often wearing multiple hats as writer, director, editor, composer, cinematographer, and VFX artist. His key achievements include producing and directing Mire (2022), as well as his feature directorial debut Isolation (2024), a sci-fi thriller/drama exploring loneliness, grief, and mental health that premiered in late 2024 acquiring worldwide distribution. Through Wild Canvas Media, he has earned several awards while continuing to develop original independent projects.
Edwin Quinones
Edwin Quinones is a Texas-based independent cinematographer, actor, and stunt performer closely associated with Ballistic Blade Entertainment, the action-oriented production company specializing in martial arts-inspired shorts and features. Often multitasking on indie projects, his key achievements include serving as cinematographer on the action-adventure film Chinaman Wu-Ping: Stranger Out of Canton, contributing stunts and acting to titles like The Great Escape (2023). He will be heavily involved in the fight choreography of Chronicles.
