Matt Poitras of MP FilmCraft is a distributed producer and costume designer that creates period accurate custom leather work from Han Solo belts to Viking and Scythian armor from scratch.
Beaux Loy is an award winning vfx artist with amazing skills. His real time facial modifications and award winning flame effects are…well…lit! He runs the company CG Scapes which specializes in creating awe inspiring 3d fantasy landscapes, backgrounds and other elements while working closely with Action VFX.
There is a LOT of action in this project so we will be doing a ton of training with the cast. In fact we have already been training. Cougar Tae Kwon Do in Jarrell, TX, Premier Martial Arts and Jungle Movement Academy in Round Rock, TX and 45 acres at Wild Roots in Lockhart, TX have graciously sponsored this project and offered us pre-production/production space! There’s more but we don’t have time to list them all! Many of our stuntmen and choreographers are practicing martial artists so we’re taking advantage of those connections to ensure that our action surpasses anything you’ve seen come out of Texas in the action space, especially in the sword and sorcery genre.
